This image was an image that I took during a day out with the family to Cheshire zoo. I took my camera and some how managed to get a picture of the baboon above. After turning the picture black and white, the contrast on the photograph seemed perfect and was defiantly a photograph that I was proud to show to people.
I love this image! Its a bunch of red roses that I bought that I randomly decided to photograph and surprisingly got some really good pictures of. I messed around and found that the image looked its best when it was in black and white. I think I got the contrast in this picture just right. I love the way the eye is drawn to the top left of the image.

These photographs are from one of my projects based on Alice in Wonderland. It was the first time that I had used a fish eye lens and was therefore completely new to me. I had to make my Alice look violent and make her hands stand out from the entire picture. I feel that I succeeded in doing this. Especially in the first photograph.

These photographs were taken during a project that was based on Alice in Wonderland. The brief asked to choose a story book or novel to illustrate or redesign using any form of media that we choose. I chose to use digital Photography for this project. I based my project around the work of American Mcgee; A games designer who has based his work on a horror version of Alice in Wonderland. I was pleased with the outcome of my photographs because of their crisp appearance and composure.

These are some photographs that I took in my spare time. I love the top photograph in this section because of the lighting and the set out of the objects around the dog. The thing that I was pleased with the most about the photograph of the fish was how I managed to keep only the fish in focus and blur the back ground.

Nature

These photographs were taken in my spare time when I can capture nature at its very best. Photography is a big hobby of mine, I keep my camera with me at all times incase an opportunity comes up just like the bee image above. I try to focus on one point when i'm shooting an image as it makes the photograph more aesthetically pleasing.

Hair Model

This is a photograph that I took for one of the hair and beauty students. I have used Adobe Photoshop software to retouch and airbrush my model. I chose to have the lighting coming from the right as I wanted the models facial features to stand out more.
I was very happy with these photographs because I feel that the lighting is to a professional standard and shows my model as I would like her to appear if she were on a magazine cover.
The first image of my model has been edited in Photoshop where I have darkened the left side to emphasise the contrast bouncing off my model.
